optical (FSO) wireless systems, has formed a partnership with Dimension Networks
to distribute fSONA’s award-winning SONAbeam™ family of products.
fSONA was selected by Dimension Network Systems as their premiere provider
of FSO equipment because of the high quality of the SONAbeam™ product
family. “Incorporating Free Space Optics into our solution set allows
us to provide our clients with optimum network performance,” said Tony

SONAbeam™ FSO technology uses invisible light beams to deliver high-speed
wireless communications. By transmitting through the atmosphere, SONAbeam™
dispenses with the substantial costs of digging up sidewalks to install
a fiber link. SONAbeam™ also eliminates the need to obtain costly
radio frequency (RF) spectrum licenses and it is immune to electro-magnetic/RF
interference. In addition, SONAbeam™ FSO transmissions are very difficult
to eavesdrop on or intercept and thus are very secure.
