Washington, DC - December 5th, 2005 - fSONA Systems, an industry leading manufacturer of free space optical (FSO) wireless solutions, today announced it will exhibit the SONAbeam family of products at Nortel* PEC* Solutions'* booth # 427 at the National Guard Bureau IT Conference, December 5-7 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event will be attended by Guardsmen from all 54 States, Territories and the District of Columbia who work Information Systems, and will be host to over 125 exhibitors from industry and government.

SONAbeam™ FSO technology uses invisible beams of light to deliver high-speed wireless communications. By transmitting through the atmosphere, SONAbeam™, which is immune to electro-magnetic/RF interference, eliminates the need for high cost fiber construction and radio frequency (RF) spectrum licenses. Since fSONA's advanced technology is virtually impossible to intercept, it offers a level of physical security that is unique in the wireless industry thus making it secure to government, military and corporate entities.

“Nortel PEC Solutions welcomes fSONA into its booth for the first time at the National Guard Bureau IT Conference,” said Chuck Saffell, chief executive officer, Nortel PEC Solutions. “The SONAbeam™ family of optical wireless solution is another exciting technology we’ll have on display for our government customers at this important event.”

“fSONA’s commitment to manufacture and integrate the highest quality optical wireless equipment available in the industry today aligns with Nortel PEC Solutions’ commitment to providing their government clients with quality network performance solutions, “said fSONA President and CEO, Sunny Taylor. “Government customers can choose to combine the SONAbeam™ with other network elements and solutions offered by Nortel PEC Solutions, thereby facilitating the deployment of secure wireless solutions quickly and affordably to provide a consistent, high-quality user experience.”
