SONAbeam™ to Provide High-Speed Wireless Communications Systems Via CSG Wireless

Vancouver, Canada - 23 January 2002 - fSONA Communications, an innovative producer of the SONAbeam™ series of Free Space Optical (FSO) communications systems, today announced that the State of Arizona Procurement Office has selected fSONA's reseller partner CSG Wireless as its wireless supplier of choice.

The SONAbeam™ series of FSO systems were selected as an integral part of CSG Wireless' successful contract for the wireless communications equipment and services to the State of Arizona. The contract allows public agencies from the State of Arizona to contract direct with CSG Wireless for procuring wireless systems, engineering, installation and support.

Free Space Optical networking allows businesses to solve last mile and metro network bottlenecks with optical communications technology, effectively offering high-capacity, low cost connections that are reliable and can be rapidly deployed.
