in the Wireless Communications Association’s Tenth Annual Technical
Symposium & Business Expo in San Jose, CA.
fSONA is proud to participate in a Symposium Keynote entitled, “FSO
& Wi-Fi: Transforming Homeland Security & Military Zone Networks.”
The Government Keynote will be delivered by Captain David Joseforsky and
Captain Gil Garcia of the U.S. Marine Corps, Naval Postgraduate School (NPS).
The Commercial Keynote will be by Ken Anderson, Senior Director, Technology,
Bechtel Telecommunications. They will then join a panel that includes Michael
Corcoran, Senior Vice President, fSONA Communications and David M. Britz,
Principal Member Technical Staff, AT&T & Chair, FSO Alliance.
fSONA will also take part in a special evening event – “FSO
for the Real World” - hosted by the FSO Alliance which will feature
papers from a number of leading FSO vendors. Michael Jung, Director of Marketing
will discuss new business models for FSO that utilize Gigabit Ethernet backbones
to deliver a variety of high-speed services.

the keynote presentation is 8:45-9:45 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 23, the evening
FSO event will take place from 6-9pm on Thursday, Jan. 22, both in the Fairmont
